About the opportunity
We're looking for a Data Analyst to undertake detailed analysis and support the delivery of transaction monitoring and reporting services. In this highly analytical role, you will manage large amounts of information in a structured, organised manner. You will also play a key role in identifying issues and providing insights that continuously improve business performance.
You are curious by nature, have a flair for numbers (and the math) as well as good business acumen.
What you will lead
Developing and maintaining transaction monitoring and reporting systems, producing reports and graphs to provide insight into business performance, to inform and support decision making and meet reporting requirements
Undertaking quantitative data analysis, managing and reviewing a wide range of data to identify issues, propose solutions and solve problems to enable continuous business improvement
Assisting with developing data analysis models to determine the success of business initiatives
Managing complicated data analysis projects, with limited supervision, from initial request to presenting data results, ensuring each project is completed accurately, on-time
Designing data analysis processes to achieve business objectives with a view to driving efficiency over time, covering the ability to process data, analyse data, and write clear, simple, succinct data findings
Analysing data using various tools to develop ad hoc reports, statistics, trends, and profiles
Collaborating with team members on establishing and refining the most effective field rollout of process, tool and/or reporting changes
Developing recommendations regarding new or better reports based on the assessment of stakeholder needs
Providing recommendations to enhance database(s) with new data sources and improved data processes
Creating complex automated data routines and processes for reporting and data delivery ensuring accurate data manipulation and data cleansing
Proposing, evaluating, and documenting alternatives that will provide the most effective solutions to solve business problems including delivery of new business initiatives
Providing competent planning, working independently and within a team to prioritise work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals
Contributing to a happy, healthy and safe work environment

What you can demonstrate
Extensive experience as a Data Analyst
Proven experience in a similar role producing dashboards and reports
Ability to interpret data to make effective recommendations
Effective communication, written and oral
Strong analytical and requirement gathering skills
Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels
Highly effective cross-functional working style
Exposure to large scale and global growth, or the ability to work across multiple locations and time zones
Your technical expertise
Intermediate to strong Tableau software skills
Advanced knowledge in spreadsheet manipulation (Excel/Google Sheet)
Knowledge in SQL for database management
Knowledge in analytics technical concepts (statistics, etc.)
Driven, articulate self-starter who doesn't require much direction, embracing change and willing to challenge existing processes
Ability to meet agreed deadlines and targets under pressure
Your qualifications
A quantitative background with a qualification in mathematics, statistics, business intelligence, engineering or similar
Previous experience working with technical teams including software developers
