Job Purpose and Role
We are seeking an Amazon QuickSight Consultant to support the implementation of Amazon QuickSight. This project is expected to be 10+ weeks and may be extended if needed.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Translate business requirements into specifications that will be used to implement required business intelligence reports and dashboards within AWS QuickSight.
Identify and optimize organizational data
Create complex data visualizations, dashboards and reports along with applicable drill down data sets
Identify and provide solutions regarding complex issues within the data to resolve errors and broken reporting
Successfully implement Amazon QuickSight including:
Data accessibility
Dashboards of KPIs for applicable management levels
Establishment of process and procedures for updating and maintaining data sets
Documenting the process and procedures for updating and maintaining the data in QuickSight
Provide training to BI Analyst on report creation & maintenance within the QuickSight environment including:
Import updated data sets
Update / roll forward dashboards recurring reporting needs
Provide ongoing, as needed support for updates, complex scripting, bug fixes & new KPIs
Visualization, data manipulation and iterative development
Qualifications
Experience with implementing AWS QuickSight
Expert level knowledge of AWS QuickSight, JSON, SQL and database architecture
Creativeness in identifying and optimizing organizational data
Experience with data manipulation and interpretation to create meaningful KPI's and metrics using multiple data sources within AWS QuickSight
Experience creating complex data visualizations, dashboards and reports along with applicable drill down data sets
Proven ability to solve complex issues within the data to resolve errors and broken reporting
Location: Open
Hours: Available during standard US business hours (9am-5pm EST)
