The role includes ensuring that all Import and Export authorizations, licences, permits and other documents are obtained and renewed on time to facilitate compliant and smooth import / export processes timely processing of billings/ payments to service providers and to ensure that all RGI applications are done and monitored to fulfill payment to vendor the soonest possible time capable of of analyzing financial and business data in order to ensure timely and accurately filling assist the customs supervisor/manager upon request in various compliance related Customs matters. WHAT WILL YOU DO - RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible in preparing the necessary documents for import, export & local sales. Responsible in monitoring permits/licenses approval and availability to prevent delays of shipments which may affects business operations and increase costs. Prepares and maintains monitoring and liquidation reports for submission to various government regulating agencies. Responsible in receiving, recording, and checking all import, export and local sale billings coordinates with finance team regarding payments for brokerage services and others. Responsible in keeping records of import, export & local sale operations and archiving of all related documents. Responsible in coordinating with contracted Customs Brokers to ensure on time customs clearance and effectient movement of goods. Perform any other tasks commissioned by the Supervisor and/or Manager in compliance with EHS procedures, labour law, corporate guidance, internal regulations and work performance instructions. All the abovementioned responsibilities must be performed in line with internal working procedures and JTI's policies. WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR - REQUIREMENTS: Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Customs Administration or any related courses. Minimum 1-3 years work experience with Customs Brokerage including documentation and face to face transaction with Bureau of Customs and other Regulatory Government Agencies. Preferably with experience in a multi-national FMCG organization or Customs authorities. Working experience in a PEZA registered company will be an advantage. English, both written and spoken Computer skills (MS Windows & MS Office, preferably intermediate MS Powerpoint / Excel skills + Graphical report) SAP or other similar systems experience will be an advantage.
