Offer description
Negotiable Permanent contract Full Time On-site and remote
As a mobile support specialist, your primary responsibility is to provide technical support and assistance to users of mobile devices, such as smartphones and tablets.
Your tasks may include:
Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to mobile devices, applications, and networks.
Providing remote technical support to users through phone, email, or chat.
Configuring mobile devices, including setting up email accounts and installing applications.
Ensuring mobile devices are secure, including implementing security protocols and providing guidance to users on mobile device security best practices.
Collaborating with other IT support teams to resolve complex technical issues.
Documenting technical support procedures and creating user manuals for mobile device use.
Providing training and guidance to users on how to use mobile devices and applications.
Testing and evaluating new mobile devices and applications for compatibility and functionality.
Maintaining accurate records of support requests and resolutions.
Staying up-to-date with new mobile device technologies and applications.
To be successful as a mobile support specialist, you should have strong technical skills, be familiar with mobile device operating systems such as iOS and Android, and be able to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical users. You should also have excellent customer service skills, be able to work well under pressure, and be able to multitask and prioritize competing demands. Additionally, you should have experience with mobile device management tools and technologies, such as MobileIron or AirWatch, and be able to stay up-to-date with mobile device security best practices.
Requirements
