JOB DESCRIPTION
Overall Purpose of Job
To handle key account(s) of Crewing Operations of Assigned Vessels, and assist the Head of Bulker Crewing Operations as required
Functions and Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with Company policies, HSSEQ, MLC 2006, STCW 2010 and Flag State requirements meeting the crewing standards of Thome Group 
Management of assigned vessels/Principals
Set individual SMART goals as agreed each year with Head of Bulker Crewing Operations
Arrange and coordinate crew travel with appointed Marine travel providers
Compliance with Thome Group training matrix applicable each rank/each vessel and ensure compliance with a Ship Owner’s crew matrix requirements as applicable
Audit and Vetting performance preparation in close liaison with in-house Marine, Operations and Technical Department
Selection, recruitment, and rotation planning for officers/crew on dedicated fleet 
To provide regular crew status update as per specific Owners requirement 
Proactively focus on and ensure retention of own officer pool assigned fleet
Crew e-data ownership and admin on assigned fleet in the Crew Information System
Routinely visit vessels to discuss personnel matters and welfare onboard 
Verify document compliance by the respective manning agent prior Officers joining (National and Flag State, medicals, D&A, visa’s, etc.)
Keep contact with officers on vacation as relevant
Co-ordinate annual unannounced drug and alcohol testing for assigned vessels
Assist in preparing the annual crewing budgets for each assigned key account/Principal
Assist the Head of Bulker Crewing Operations prepare and keep updated key account Crewing Strategy and crew cost budget assumption papers 
Checking and coding of crew costs in ‘Eyeshare’
Assure monthly crew cost reporting and monitoring in ‘Qlikview’ with qualifying comments/corrective actions on crew cost variance
Ensure that the e-appraisal/assessment of marine personnel performance is updated in COMPAS
Other crew matters as directed by the Head of Bulker Crewing Operations
JOB QUALIFICATION
Education and Qualification
Graduate of any 4 year course
With atleast 1-4 years as Crewing Executive in a Ship Management industry
