Purpose of the Position Under the supervision of the Credit and Compliance Head, the Credit Investigation and Appraisal Officer shall ensure the creditworthiness of a potential borrower through field validation of residence, business activity, and community involvement. The Credit Investigation and Appraisal Officer will also confirm that all collaterals being offered are acceptable per credit policy and that their value is enough to cover the loan obligation in case of default. Key Responsibilities Quality of CI and Appraisal Report Positive validation of borrowers' residence, business activity, and community involvement. Careful valuation of collateral through peer comparison, government valuation, and recent sale transactions vis- -vis current market offer prices. Thorough evaluation of the acceptability of collateral confirming there are no errors in the description and actual plot measurements. Ensuring the authenticity of all collateral documents, using backtracing and other control measures as needed. Turnaround of CI and Appraisal Reports Turnaround of all CI and Appraisal reports is done within the agreed timeframe or earlier. Compliance Compliance with applicable policies and procedures of the Company covering credit investigation, property appraisal, credit evaluation, and credit administration. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in any business or related course, preferably with license in Real Property Appraisal. At least 1 year in credit investigation and real property appraisal in a financial institution. Knowledge of legal and regulatory framework for real properties. Work Arrangement: Onsite Monday - Friday
