Job Description:
Principal purpose(s) of the position
The Collection Assistant position is responsible for collections and coordinating clerical functions related to Accounts Receivables of the company with focus on employees' receivables.
Primary duties and responsibilities
1. Analyze and collect the receivables from separated employees based on SOA from HR
2. Call employees to know the whereabouts and current information
3. Visit the employee as needed
4. Prepare weekly progress reports of collection activities
5. Assist the Supervisor in collating documents of any accounts subject to litigation i..e..collection letter to final demand letter including emails and other communications with the customers.
6. Obey and comply with directives issued by the management.
7. Any other function that may be assigned by the Supervisor/Manager.
Qualifications:
Graduate of any 4-year business course
With at least 2 years of experience in debt collection
At least familiar with documentation such as Sales Invoices, Collection Receipts, etc.
