MVP Asia Pacific Inc. is now looking for a Credit Analyst for one of our clients.
The Credit Analyst position is responsible for the analysis and monitoring the credit worthiness of assigned account base and recommending credit lines within established guidelines across the entire customer base. Additional responsibilities include analyzing financial statements, Dun & Bradstreet reports, trade, and bank references for determination of credit lines, and maintaining a strong working relationship with the Customer Service Department and Sales Account Managers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Must establish and maintain effective work relationships with new and existing customers through a high degree of professionalism and excellent interpersonal/communication skills.
• Must be able to assist the Credit Manager with recommendations on credit application approval/denial based on research and analysis.
• Administers company credit application process:
o Reviews credit application
o Establishes lines of credit
o Conducts financial analysis including 3rd party report review
o Makes recommendations to Credit Manager
• Conducts credit collections:
o Prioritizes credit reviews for existing accounts
o Contacts customer and sales
o Issues Letters of Credit
o Coordinates activities with Customer Service
o Ensures proper follow-up
• Opens new accounts.
• Maintains records and files.
• Performs finance and analytical duties as assigned by management.
To be successful, you should be:
• A bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or any related field.
• At least 4 years of hands-on experience in Credit and Collections.
• Work experience in a manufacturing work environment.
• Training in Six Sigma Methodology and 6S
• Proven self-starter (action-oriented and eager to learn.)
• Related work experience in accounts receivable and/or finance.
• Technical skills in account reconciliation, credit extensions, payment plans, etc.
• Planning and organization: an ability to plan and manage multiple projects.
• Strong customer orientation.
• Attention to detail.
• Problem analysis and problem resolution.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Effective in high-performance teams and a strong team player.
• Computer proficiency: Microsoft Office, Oracle and/or similar system software.
• Exceptional English Communication Skills.
• Must be willing to work on a night shift schedule.
