OVERSEE DAY-TO-DAY BACK-END OPERATIONS: Run the day-to-day activities of the department by taking care of back-end procedures
· DISSEMINATE NEW DIRECTIONS
Inform checking department staff of new processes, procedures & promotions; assist cashier during transaction processing when "Manager/Supervisor" function is required
· MONITOR SHOPPING BAGS & OTHER MATERIALS
Monitor completeness shopping bags & other packaging materials so as not to hamper counter operations
· SCHEDULE WORK SHIFT OF STAFF
Assign checkers based on the number of cashiers to be deployed per shift, monitor attendance & manage absences by re-assigning staff
· MANAGE OPEX
Manage the operating budget of the department by ordering the right number of supplies, monitoring use & safekeeping of extra items
· MANAGE CHECKING STAFF DOCUMENTS
Monitor & manage documents of checking staff (serve ANS, issue violation reports, LOARF, Undertime form, etc.)
Qualifications:
· Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in any business-related course
With at least 1 year experience in bank operations or counter-cashier functions
· Flexible to be assigned to work schedules supporting the retail operational hours
· Willing to be assigned in The SM Store ZAMBOANGA
