COST ESTIMATOR
Job Description:
Calculate, estimate and manage all cost-related aspects in construction project such as production time, materials and labor
Read blueprints and technical documents in order to prepare estimates
Collaborates with engineer, architect, clients, and contractors
Recommend ways to reduce costs
Visits project sites to gather data and quantification to verify progress of accomplishments of the project
To ensure that the construction project is completed within the projective budget, analyzing plans and other project documents in order to estimates the quantity
Maintain records of estimated and actual costs
Work with sales teams to prepare estimates and bids for clients
Create and update project schedule from time to time
Requirements:
BS Civil Engineer/Industrial/Manufacturing Engineer/Architectural graduate
Highly organized and with time management skills
Background in construction industry is advantage
Atleast 2 years experience in a related field
With good analytical thinking, keen attention to details and leadership skills
