Cost Controller
Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitoring and analyzing costs
- Writing reports and presenting information to key stakeholders
- Developing and adjusting budgets
- Communicating with suppliers to negotiate material costs
- Developing financial reporting procedures and systems
- Provide critical assessment of all budgets and cost projections.
- Calculating the variance between the budgeting plan and reality
- Investigating unprofitable variances and losses
- Develop and support strategic plans to manage projects' total spending on designated projects
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or relevant field is strongly preferred.
- Minimum 1-2 years' experience working in cost control
- Management experience is strongly preferred.
- Exceptionally well organized with an aptitude for data
- Able to generate budgets and reports
- Strong presentation skills able to explain concepts concisely and accurately
- Creative thinking skills and the ability to solve problems
