Reporting directly to the Project Manager and indirectly to the Delta Corporate Cost Control Assistant Manager, the Cost Control Engineer is accountable and responsible for monitoring and controlling the expenditure of the Quarry Project.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed daily update reports and monthly accomplishment reports to provide sufficient information to Delta Corporate and on the productivity of the Quarry Project
Compare operation's productivity against the target set and agreed by the Delta Project management team and Delta Corporate Engineering and provide recommendations on ways to improve the project's overall output
Check and maintain the database for production, drilling, and blasting activity of the Quarry Project
In-charge of the short-term mine plans whenever required by the contract
Ensure that all executed works are properly compensated as stipulated in the contract
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
Must be with a degree in Mining Engineering, preferably licensed professional
Must be willing to work in Teresa, Rizal
Computer literate
High level of interpersonal skills and integrity;
Creative, forward thinker.
Able to deliver effective results, meet tight deadlines and targets
Ability to interact with staff (at all levels) in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient.
Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
A reliable professional who follows the organization and department procedures; completes tasks promptly.
