COST ACCOUNTING SUPERVISOR
 
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
 
This individual is mainly responsible for product costing, which involves the ongoing analyses of production processes, margin analyses, and tracing costs back to underlying activities. The Cost Accounting Supervisor must also construct and monitor those cost-effective data accumulation systems needed to provide an appropriate level of costing information to management.
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of BS Accountancy
Able to perform the essential functions of the job typically acquired through 3 or more years of accounting-related manufacturing experience
Able to apply knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
Able to work with computerized accounting system preferably SAP and adapt to new and different computer programs and software to enable efficient data gathering and analysis
Skilled in MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, PPT)
Preferably with Supervisory experience
Highly analytical and with solid problem-solving skills
Able to research, compile, analyze and interpret data
Good in written & verbal communication
Detail-oriented
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Willing to work overtime or long hours on holidays, Sundays and audit season if necessary
