Hi! We're Smartsourcing, looking for a Cost Accountant who can work with us full-time and on-site!

Where?📍 Crown 7 Business Centre, Pope John Paul II Ave, Cebu City, CebuAs a Cost Accountant,
You'll play a key role in supporting our supply chain's financial health! You'll be responsible for maintaining efficient financial processes, keeping the team informed of any cost and performance changes, and identifying potential risks and opportunities. By providing insightful analysis and collaborating with the leadership team, you'll directly contribute to achieving our operational and financial goals. Some of the things we expect you to do are to:
Maintaining the weekly stocktaking process across the nation and costing the inventories.
GL entries on the stock movements (periodic method) and related COGS adjustments.
Maintaining the suppliers' price changes and updating the impacts on standard costing.
Maintenance of material master data.
Calculating the accruals (monthly) for conversion cost and maintaining the proper GL entries for reversals and new accruals.
Assisting the monthly standard/actual costs updating.
Maintaining the conversion cost recovery calculation.
Preparing the daily production and yield rate report (Meat Matrix) for the state managers.
Preparing the weekly supplier's bill to pay in collaboration with the AP team.
Contribution to the month-end closing process per the closing checklist.
Maintaining the weekly stock movement (periodic method) analysis and comparison against the closing stock balance.
Drive continuous improvement in reporting to ensure data is accurate, insightful and timely.
Assist in the preparation of weekly labour report (reconciled to GL) and analyse actual labour usage against forecast & standard
Assist in preparation of weekly Supply KPI report and ensure key metrics in this report reconcile back to the general ledger
Productive and professional relationship with state managers, procurements, and senior Ops & Supply chain team.
Assist in sharing the analysis of the Supply KPI report and identifying gaps in targets and opportunities to improve business performance.
Any other ad-hoc tasks as directed by the Supply Finance Manager.
Prepare periodic inventory revaluations.
Perform month-end closing including month-end journal/accrual entries and finance ledger reconciliations.
Other ad-hoc actions per the manager's reques
We would need you to be or have the following:
Advanced skills in Excel with attention to detail
