•Determines the cost of operations by establishing standard costs and collecting operational data.
•Guides cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing global policies and procedures.
•Updates standard costs in the bill of materials and validates the cost of goods sold as part of the month-end close.
•Planning, studying, and collecting data to determine business activity costs such as purchases, freight, and duties.
•Analyzing data collected and recordingresults.
•Monitorand report cost variances (vs. standard costs) with proper recommendation.
•Help in sustaining the levels of inventory and availability in coordination with the Production and Purchasing Department
•Liaise with internal & external auditors as required.
•Ensure that SOP documentation is updated.
•Analyzing actual manufacturing costs and preparing periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs
•Recording cost information for use in controlling expenditures
•Analyzing audits of costs and preparing reports
•Providing management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products or services
•Assisting in month end close of the General Ledger.
•Ensure that work performed conforms to the quality standards set by GrainPro Philippines Incorporated and must be aware of the implications of non-conformance.
•Perform other related duties as may be assigned
•Graduate of BS Management Accounting, BS Accountancy, or another related course.
•With at least 7 years work experience in Cost Accounting and manufacturing global environment.
•Knowledge in NetSuite is a plus.
•Strong analytical and planning skill.
•Self-starter with the ability to take direction and work to complete tasking with limited guidance and on scheduled timelines.
•Attention to detail, critical thinking, and solid organizational skills.
•Strong problem-solving skills.
•Must be able to perform journal entries.
•Excellent Microsoft Office skills for reporting, data recording, and analysis
•Willing to work beyond office hours and holidays.
•Month/year-end closing experience is required.
