Principal purpose(s) of the position
Provides cost of production for the specific plant assigned to him/her by ensuring that proper costing procedure is being followed and accurate costing data is being used.
Primary duties and responsibilities
1. Coordinates with production personnel with regards to their weekly and monthly consumption of raw materials and packaging materials (RMPM).
2. Tally the stock movements to the system for verification.
3. Conducts variance analysis of the consumption reports(Actual versus Standard)
4. Conducts monthly physical count of RMPM
5. Uploads the physical count of RMPM to Oracle.
6. Conducts reconciliation of inventories and verification of any inventory variances.
7. Prepares cost of sales based on the RMPM consumption and any adjustments on it.
8. Prepares Journal Entries for the cost of sales.
9. Reconcile Inventory Subsidiary Ledger on its General Ledger account monthly.
10. Helps in the preparation of Management Reporting Package, particularly MRP-E.
11. Consolidate MRP reports from different departments.
12. Actively participates in safety, health, and environmental programs and supports housekeeping programs.
13. Helps in the preparation and consolidation of reports for Flash and FRP.
14. Performs such other functions as may be assigned by the higher authorities.
Qualifications:
Graduate of BS in Accountancy
Good working knowledge of Excel and Word
Knowledge in Oracle Accounting and Inventory System
Experience in costing and variance analysis is required for this position
Willing to be assigned in Binan, Laguna (on-site)
