COST ACCOUNTING AND INVENTORY STAFF
 
Location : Tac-an Road, Talamban, Cebu City
Work schedule : 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Thursday; 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Friday
Employment : Full-time
 
The cost Accounting and Inventory Staff is responsible for monitoring, analyzing and controlling products cost and inventory levels. The role ensures accurate cost allocation, inventory valuation and compliance with company policies to support effective financial reporting and operational decision making.
 
Qualification:
Bachelor' degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
At least 1-3 years working experience in cost and inventory accounting.
Knowledge of cost accounting principle and inventory management.
Proficient in accounting system and MS Excel.
Strong analytical and attention to detail.
Good communication snd coordination skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Cost Accounting
Prepare and maintain cost sheets for products, project and projects.
Analyze direct materials, labor, and overhead cost.
Monitor cost variances and investigate discrepancies.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives.
Ensure proper cost allocation and absorption in accordance with accounting standards.
Support month end and year end closing related to cost accounts.
Inventory Management
Monitor inventory level and ensure accurate inventory records.
Perform regular inventory reconciliation between physical count and system records.
Investigate inventory variances shortage or excess and recommend corrective actions.
Coordinate with Purchasing, Warehouse and Production departments.
Compliance and Control
Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls.
Assist improving inventory and cost accounting process
Support internal and external audit related to cost inventory.
