WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
SSP Mactan Cebu Corporation is looking for a seasoned Cost Accountant to be part of our rapidly growing team in the Philippines. The Cost Accountant will take charge of the following but not limited to the following tasks:
· Proven work experience as a Cost Accountant, Cost Analyst, Accountant or similar role
· Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures
· In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
· Experience with accounting software
· Computer literacy, MS Excel in particular (familiarity with VLOOKUPs and pivot tables)
· Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail
· Strong time management skills
· Integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information
· BSc degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant study
NECESSARY SKILLS FOR THE ROLE:
In order to be successful in the role, a qualified applicant must have:
Advanced knowledge in the use of of Excel.
Keen to numbers, detailed minded, logical thinking, well organized and adaptive to fast-paced retail environment with good attention to detail.
Knowledge of business application, ERPs like Microsoft Dynamics NAV is advantage.
Posses strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadline.
Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Commerce, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
At least 1 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Or At least 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employee specialized in Finance - General/Cost Accounting or equivalent.
