What You Will Do in Your Role
Ensure costing data accuracy and policy compliance
Check thoroughly on actual monthly costing results and analyze the variances between actual and standard cost.
Partner with operations to drive for cost improvement.
Assists in coming up with applicable standard cost in accordance with the corporate policies and related requirements.
Involve all necessary SAP training (finance and other non finance related functions), investigation, simulation, implementation etc.
Work with related project team/functions or operations to drive the monthly, quarterly and yearly accounting operation & closing in the area of project or costing
Prepare monthly financial performance reports per business unit and division for discussion and sharing with local and external partners
Check from time to time if the expenditures and revenues are properly classified in accounting system, and research and analyzes transactions to resolve any issues / problems.
Assists on annual project or cost budgeting and monthly forecasting processes.
Assists in preparing reports that will be used in making business decision related to the optimization of product mix profitability and partner with other team to coordinate with another team, operation and functional managers to prepare for business cases and/or investment recommendations
Assists in the conduct of year end physical inventory and fixed asset count and ensure compliance to the corporate policy and requirements.
Reviews, validates and supports GLSS/MOS and Fusion activities/projects.
The Experience You Will Bring
Requirements
Degree in Finance accounting or Management costing
Minimum of 1-3 years experience in cost manufacturing management capacity
Have hands-on SAP implementation and operation experience
