Job Summary:
Over-all in charge of the Product Costing, Production and Operations Cost, Gross Margin Analysis, Variance Analysis, Standard cost roll-up and updates, Accounting and Finance functions in the business unit. Expected to support Management for the timely preparation of financial statements and necessary financial data as a tool for planning and decision making purposes. Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for , Import and Export processing to meet business unit objectives and customer requirements including affiliates.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Accounting and Finance Functions:
Responsible on the product costings, analysis and review of all Traded FGs, Existing Manufactured products, New Product costings, including Export materials.
Coordinates with Operations for the LOH that will be used for product costing.
Coordinates with R&D for material requirement that will be used for existing manufactured product costing.
Updates Standard cost through roll-up process in JDE for LOH, Freight cost, and Inventory unit cost.
Variance analysis: PPV, Freight and LOH variances.
Gross Margin/Profit Analysis.
Analysis of GL accounts affecting Production, Operations and Supply Chain Cost affecting product costing, preparation of reports, and recommending proper cost control to cost centers with the goal of decreasing unnecessary expenses, thereby increasing profit.
Provides effective financial and business unit analysis to support decision-making within the business unit.
Supports the Controller in the preparation of the annual business plan at the business unit level.
Supply chain Fuctions:
Regular review of material prices for both 3rd party source and from affiliates.
Responsible on the freight management for Import and Export process (Contract Review, Strategy and Execution).
Responsible for quarterly review of freight cost that will be used for product costing.
Work with forwarders / brokers for all import and export shipments including customs related concerns.
Responsible for Freight Billing review and processing.
Communicates with internal and external customers; sales team, production, purchasing, and customer service to ensure on time delivery objectives are achieved.
Analyze complex problems and solve in the most efficient way possible.
Maintain excellent working relationships with all personnel inside and outside of Sensient Philippines.
Responsible to constantly seek improved ways and methods to better service customers, external and internal.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Accountancy; must be a Certified Public Accountant.
Minimum of 5 years' experience as Cost Accountant or Finance Analyst for Plant Controlling preferably in a multinational set-up.
Has knowledge experience of Finance functions, Supply Chain functions, and Production/Operations processes.
A passion for details and the ability to explain them.
Advanced background in Accounting computer systems, and expert in excel functions and pivot tables, macro-excel is a plus.
