Job Description
• Review and analyze system transactions.
• Analyze production runs to provide insights to product costing.
• Work with management team to improve cost profile and track cost savings.
• Partner with plants to understand all inputs and costs in the manufacturing process.
• Ensure adequate controls of inventory.
• Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing data.
• New product costing setups.
• Be a self-starter; ability to work independently as well as with other personnel and management
• Attend required company meetings and training and participate in constructive discussion.
• Maintain accurate cost standards, variance analysis, cost applications, and inventory valuation based on knowledge of product, pricing, procurement, manufacturing, and systems.
• Perform and coordinate interim physical inventories, factor studies, and sales cut off verification.
• Prepare timely, accurate, and meaningful financial reports, cost analyses, and forecasts. Analyze data and communicate opportunities to reduce cost and maximize profit.
• Prepare and analyze cost accounting journal entries and account reconciliations
• Perform all other duties assigned
