KEY TASK RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. On Plant Operations
• Design and implement plans for the effective use of material and labor resources to achieve manufacturing target¬
• Supervise the operations of manufacturing, logistics, and warehousing personnel to ensure a manufacturing process is within budget and time schedule
• Oversee the hiring, orienting, and training of technical production employees to ensure a competent workforce
• Conduct studies and research to discover a more effective approach to production
• Oversee the regulation of work shift to ensure proper workload distribution
• Monitor a manufacturing team to ensure operations are in compliance with health and safety standards
• Schedule the maintenance of production equipment and machines to ensure efficient operations
• Analyze and provide solutions to manufacturing challenges or problems
• Liaise with the quality assurance department to ensure product quality and specification are consistent
• Conduct assessments to identify mechanical and procedural limitations that minimize work efficiency
• Monitor and control a production process to adjust operations in event of a problem
• Collaborate with sales, customer services, human resources & administration, and accounting to implement strategies that'll improve the marketability of manufactured products
• Oversee the procurement of raw materials and equipment required for manufacturing
• Review personnel performance to determine individuals most suited for promotion.
• Performs product costing and analyses of costs;
• Performing other duties required when needed.
2. On Product Costing & Control
• Planning, Studying, and collecting data to determine costs of inventory such as raw materials, goods in process, and finished goods;
• Determines cost of activities that would be attributable to the costs of inventories such as purchasing, manufacturing overhead and direct labor;
• Gathers, analyzes and assign costs of products that have unique characteristics as ordered by the customers;
• Analyzing changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods or services provided, to determine effects on cost
• Analyzing audits of costs and preparing reports
• Making estimates of new and proposed product costs
• Providing management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products or services.
• Conducts physical inventories and monitors cycle count program
• Reconciles finished goods inventories and other types of inventories
• Identifies non-moving and slow moving inventory for management disposition
• Works closely with Accounting regarding product costing, analyses, and recording in the books of accounts, the manufacturing cost, cost of sales and valuation of inventories (i.e. raw materials, work in process, and finished goods
Qualifications
CPA
 Technical Skills: Manufacturing operations managers are skilled in operating and examining production equipment for faults and costing of product and its analyses
 Project Management Skills: They are able to handle a manufacturing process to ensure timely and cost-effective production
 Organizational Skills: They are adept at coordinating the different stages of manufacture to ensure seamless operations
 Preferably lives in Dasmarinas or Carmona Cavite or nearby or Laguna
