PREFERRED QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
Education
:
Bachelor of Science in Accountancy (BSA) or Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA)
Experience
:
At least one (1) year of relevant experience in government accounting, budget facilitation and processing, database maintenance, clerical functioning, preparation of communications and correspondences, review of financial reports, preparation of minutes of meetings, administrative support filing, etc.
Training
:
Eight (8) hours of relevant training preferably in the areas budget facilitation and processing, preparation of reports, coordination and networking, database maintenance, clerical functioning, preparation of communications and correspondences, and other relevant trainings on Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM)
Additional Competencies:
1. Computer literate with knowledge on MS Office
2. Outstanding in written and oral communication
3. Keen to details
4. Competent ability in clerical functioning, and responding to phone calls
5. Outstanding analytical thinking
6. Willing to work long hours, to go on field work and to handle multi-tasking type of work

JOB DESCRIPTION
Under the immediate supervision of the OIC-Division Chief 9DC) of the Disaster Operation Support Division (DOSD), the Administrative Officer (AO) II shall perform administrative works such as but not limited to finance, procurement, human resource, reporting and office management.
PRIMARY TASKS
1. Maintain a database on fund releases, withdrawal, reallocation and modification of funds;
2. Assists in the formulation of the Work and Financial Planning workshops/activities;
3. Prepare memoranda ad reports on financial management;
4. Facilitate the processing of financial and other administrative transactions;
5. Assists in resource generation for project financing;
6. Coordinates with the different DRMB divisions and DSWD Field Office counterparts on finance-related matters;
7. Attend and/or represent the office in inter-division/office meetings, workshops, learning development interventions and the likes concerning financial and administrative matters;
8. Assists in the preparation of cue cards for the Budget Hearing sessions;
9. Undertake field travels to provide support in the implementation of programs, activities and projects (PAPs); and
10. Perform other tasks which may be assigned by the Supervisor.
