Job Description Successfully design, install, and commission the core transport equipment in network facilities locations to support voice, video and data. Work with OSP Engineers on design and specification for fiber optic facilities, in aerial and underground design. Support team troubleshooting efforts and address engineering inaccuracies. Specify procedures and requirements for the installation and turn up of all new transport equipment; prepare as-built, which include installed specifications and post-installation drawings. Prepare cost estimates for individual projects (Labor, materials, equipment and overhead) and submit data to management for authorization approval. Provide input for Project Appropriation Request and Work Orders to management.
Qualification:
1. Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor's College Degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engg or Computer Engg.
2. Licensed Electronics Engineer is preferred.
3. Open to fresh graduates with programming and IT background (Unix, Autocad, web based HTML, Visual Basic macro language, Python and Google Data Studio).
4. Must be a resident of Tiaong Quezon, or any nearby municipalities in close proximity to Tiaong core site.
5. Must be amenable to work in Tiaong Core site, CM Recto St., San Agustin, TIAONG, QUEZON, REGION IV-A (CALABARZON) for a shifting and/or rotation schedule.
6. Must be agreeable to be reassigned to other South Luzon pool sites (Bacoor/Carmona/Gen. Trias in Cavite Province and/or Batangas City in Batangas) when the need requires.
7. Must be a proficient driver and holder of a valid driver's license (non-professional minimum)
Responsibilities:
. Performs shift routines, consolidates the output and performs corrective measures when faults are detected.
. Performs troubleshooting and corrective activities for Fault Tickets (FT)/Work Order (WO) and network quality/performance issues endorsed by Service Command Centre (SCC).
. Performs 1st level troubleshooting of on-site issues.
. Respond to system alarms as required to maintain normal operation of equipment
. Provide support to Service Command Centre (SCC), Field Operations and Technical Support teams in evaluating and resolving service related issues.
. Work with the SCC and TIER2 on troubleshooting and other technical issues.
. Implements technical solutions to problems as recommended by CNFM (Core Network and Facilities Management) Senior Engineers.
. Provide assistance to Access and Core Engineering in evaluating system optimization at the Core side.
. Assist in gathering data from the equipment Operational Measurements for next level support to determine problems and assist in the resolution.
. Recommends network resiliency programs based on results of troubleshooting for submission to unit head for approval.
. Escalates unresolved issues to Technical Support Teams or other applicable team within SLA (Service Level Agreement).
. Performs the preventive maintenance housekeeping to core elements based on schedule.
. Maintain and re-grooming of installed cables and wirings as per standard.
