Job Description Core Network and Facilities Management performs operation and maintenance of Core sites handling Telecom and Facility management of Globe Telecom under Network Technical Group.
- Focus on the functional expertise related to IT, Telecom and Support Facilities management.
- Performs shift routines, consolidates the output and performs corrective measures when faults are detected.
- Performs the following corrective activities of Fault Tickets (FT) / Work Order (WO) and network quality/performance issues endorsed by Network Operations Center.
- Performs 1st level troubleshooting of on-site issues.
- Capable of supporting shift equipment health check and backup routines using macro script languages.
- Spare parts management request/ return ensuring SLA are met.
- Respond to system alarms as required to maintain system-switching operation.
- Work and provide support to Network Operations Centre (NOC), Field Operations and Technical Support teams in evaluating and resolving technical and service issues.
- Support Internal Customers in Survey, Installation, Acceptance of Projects to meet timeline requirements
- Able to quickly understand support facilities basic functions.
- Implement technical solutions to problems as recommended by the group
Qualifications:
Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Electronics Engineering
Licensed Electronics Engineers are preferred
Open to fresh grads with IT (Unix, Auto-cad, web based HTML, php, Visual Basic macro language, Python ) background
Exposure to Test Equipments (BER, Ethernet Testing, OTDR) preferred
IP / IT work experience is a plus
IT Certifications is a plus
Good communication skills
With good leadership competency is a plus
Can work on shift schedule and willing to be relocated in Tarlac City.
Experienced driver (with valid Philippine Driver's License)
