Duties and Responsibilities:
• Write impactful copy tailored for different audiences and communications channels including website, social media, blogs, video scripts, training materials and short reports
• Help establish and grow engaged audiences for the company and client communications, including social media and digital campaigns
• Edit, proofread, and format documents and digital copy prepared by others to ensure that it meets company quality and branding specifications
• Support the creative services team by providing graphic design services, including developing and applying branded design templates to reports, training materials, PowerPoint presentations etc
• Using social media brand playbooks, create engaging social media posts for the company and clients
• Edit and update website copy and make minor website updates
• Manage email lists and email campaigns
Qualifications and Experience:
• Degree in Marketing or related
• 3+ years relevant experience in Copywriting, Marketing and/or any similar role
• Experience in editing, researching and proofreading
• Proficient in MS Office and similar applications
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to manage multiple projects and multi-task
• Demonstrated ability to write copy for different audiences and channels
• Experience working in multidisciplinary teams, delivering results for clients
• Self-starter with demonstrated flexibility, initiative and drive, able to cope with changing fast-paced work environments and priorities
• Experience working for a Food and Agribusiness would be an advantage
• Experience in updating content in website using WordPress would be nice to have
• Ideally with understanding of and experience in using email marketing programs and major social media platforms especially LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram
• Basic graphic design experience e.g (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) would be an advantage
