Chromedia is looking for a full time copywriter to assist the company in writing blog posts, ghost writing contractors' resumes, rewriting the pages of our website and assisting in the creation of marketing materials and collateral. The copywriter might also be tasked with writing content for the websites of our clients from time to time, however the primary task will be for internal Chromedia needs.
Copywriter responsibilities are:
Writing clear and interesting articles, blogs, web pages, marketing materials, etc.
Understanding of Marketing and Sales language.
Conducting research or interviews with internal employees/owners when necessary.
Proofreading/editing.
Copywriter requirements are:
Experience as an English Language Copywriter.
Be highly creative and imaginative.
Good writing acumen.
Work well in a team.
Familiar with Google Docs.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
Be able to work under pressure.
Have an eye for detail.
Have an interest in commerce, popular culture, and new advertising trends and techniques.
BA/BSc in Marketing, Journalism, English Literature or a related field.
What is the work like?
Meeting and interviewing owners and employees to discover topics to write blogs about. Researching those topics, iterating versions with the assistance of those employees and eventually publishing the blog on our website.
Summarizing the work experience of employees by interpreting their resumes along with a series of interviews, then writing a standardized company branded document about that employee.
Actively help define the company marketing materials.
Familiarising yourself with our business, target audience and competitor activities in the market.
Brainstorming ideas and concepts with other members of the team.
presenting initial ideas to the owners, some of which may be rejected or developed into workable concepts.
