Qualifications/Requirements
A copy editor reviews and corrects an author’s manuscript for technical and contextual errors. Technical covers punctuation, spelling, formatting. Contextual covers grammar and language use, employing the company’s style guide.
A degree in English, communication arts, journalism, literature, or related field is preferred, but not required. Proficiency in the English language is a must.
