Function Description
Develops, directs, plans and analyzes financial standing, programs and procedures.
Responsible for proper documentation of financial standing for audit and regulatory purposes.
Coordinates account and payroll functions.
Makes company plans and recommendations based on financial data.
Discipline Description
Supports one or more of the functional activities within Finance.
Provides financial support including forecasting, budgeting, and analyzing variations from budget.
Analyzes and prepares financial statements and reports.
Performs administrative functions related to or for the Finance division.
Maintains proper documentation of Finance activities and operations.
Job Responsibilities
Works under general supervision to provide assistance in one or more disciplines within Finance (e.g. tax, treasury, accounting, financial planning and analysis, payroll, accounts payable, etc.).
Compiles and maintains financial records.
Performs fairly complex financial calculations.
Assists with reconciliation of financial activities (invoices, journal entries, cash receipts, etc.), notes and reports discrepancies found in records.
Participates in the analysis of financial records to verify internal consistency, completeness and accuracy.
Assists in preparation of financial reports, correspondence and documentation.
Complies with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations on all finance activities.
