Job Description
Food Preparation: Preparing ingredients and cooking meals according to recipes, menus, or chef instructions.
Cooking Techniques: Utilizing various cooking techniques such as grilling, frying, baking, roasting, sautéing, steaming, and boiling to prepare dishes.
Menu Planning: Assisting with menu planning by suggesting dishes, contributing ideas for new menu items, and ensuring that ingredients are available.
Food Safety and Sanitation: Adhering to food safety and sanitation standards, including proper handling, storage, and disposal of food, as well as maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area.
Inventory Management: Monitoring and maintaining inventory levels of food and kitchen supplies, and placing orders as needed to ensure sufficient stock.
Quality Control: Ensuring that all dishes meet quality standards in terms of taste, appearance, and portion size.
Kitchen Maintenance: Cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
Team Collaboration: Collaborating with other kitchen staff, such as chefs, sous chefs, and kitchen assistants, to coordinate meal preparation and service.
Time Management: Managing time effectively to ensure that meals are prepared and served on schedule, especially during busy periods.
Customer Service: Providing excellent customer service by accommodating special requests, addressing customer concerns, and maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
Adaptability: Being able to work efficiently under pressure, adapt to changing priorities, and multitask as needed in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Continuous Learning: Staying updated on culinary trends, techniques, and best practices through ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
Female applicants are preferred for this role.
You should have 80-90% of Arabic food to hired as a cook in Local Family.
You will be the one prepper all food for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
