Job Summary:
Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes, portion sizes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines.
Follow proper cooking methods, techniques, and temperatures to ensure high-quality and flavorful food.
Operate various kitchen equipment, such as stoves, ovens, grills, fryers, and slicers, safely and efficiently.
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience as a cook or line cook in a professional kitchen setting.
Knowledge of various cooking techniques, food safety standards, and kitchen equipment operation.
Ability to follow recipes accurately and produce consistent results.
Strong knowledge of proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
Formal culinary training or certification has advantage but not mandatory.
