CONTRACT MANAGEMENT ANALYST

SUMMARY:
 
Responsible in maintaining and analyzing freight rates, surcharges and other vital information in our client's and carrier's freight rate contracts. Maintains customer's confidence and protects operations.
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analyzes and maintains rates and surcharges in freight contracts with basic-intermediate level of complexity/difficulty.
Enters manually texts or numerical data into databases and spreadsheets, usually uses Excel or any Word Processing Programs and input freight contract information and surcharges.
Performs rate management and data analysis in freight contracts and input data in QMS accurately.
Acquires all the knowledge to process and audit all service types (FCL/LCL) in freight contracts.
Apply all applicable General Rate Increase, fees, and other surcharges from the Carrier's/Freight-forwarder's tariffs per the client's contract.
Ensures that data and information is entered to templates are extremely accurate and all relevant information in the freight contract would be properly displayed in QMS.
Ensures that any errors reported from clients and templates processed are immediately resolved.
Contributes to team performance by accomplishing expected results and timelines.
Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Requires a bachelor's degree.
1-2 years related experience.
Proficient on MS office applications such as Microsoft Excel, Word and PDF
Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
Highly analytical and high attention to details.
Commitment to excellence and high standards.
Strong organizational skills; able to manage priorities and work assignments.
Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams.
Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing processes and priorities with enthusiasm.
Completed the Industry Training
Understands Department's Standard Operating Procedures
Understand the language/terms/jargons in different service contracts.
Full understanding on FMC DE/Surcharge processes.

Location Requirements: Position is fully remote, but we do have an office for onboarding and training.  Preference will be given to candidates that live closer to office.
