Duties and Responsibilities:
• Complete take-offs for residential construction
• Tendering packages starting from 1.5M
• Understanding of all building areas including but not limited to ground works, waterproofing, concrete, brickwork, structural steel, carpentry, doors, windows, roofing and cladding, fixtures/fittings, render, tiling, floor finishes, painting
• Process invoices within Workbench (construction software programme)
• Procure materials and fittings
• Vet subcontractors quotes
• Vet supplies quotes
• Produce scope of works for varies subcontractors
• Understanding and read Architectural drawings
• Understanding and read Structural drawings
• Understanding and read fittings and finishes schedules
Qualifications and Experience:
• Degree in Engineering, Architecture or related
• At least 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience
• Good communication skills both verbal and written
• Keen eye for detail
• Accurate and proactive
• Thrive on busy (could handle stressful situations)
• Ability to prioritise tasks
• Self-motivated and diligent
• Team building and strong development skills
• Understand what motivates the clients
• Experience or background in any of the following would be an advantage: AutoCAD, Australian BPO, Project Management
