Content Specialist (Hybrid)
Job description
Content Specialists help guide and develop the content creation process for the company brand. You will be required to research and define desired target audiences, manage the content creation and publishing processes, and monitor consumer and content metrics.
To ensure success, you should show a keen eye for detail and be highly creative. A skilled content specialist should be an expert storyteller and possess excellent consumer and content trends knowledge. This is DAYSHIFT with Saturdays and Sundays off.
Responsibilities and Duties
Selected candidates are expected to:
Meet with the creative, marketing, and design teams to ideate and define content goals.
Research content and consumer trends to ensure relevant and engaging content.
Develop content strategies to reach the desired target audience and marketing goals effectively
Plan and conceptualization content for different platforms, including blogs, websites, and social media
Proofread and edit content before publishing
Ensure that SEO strategies are well-implemented
Manage content calendars and ensure that the content remains consistent across all platforms
Coordinate with the marketing, design, and writing teams to ensure timely delivery of assignments
Track consumer and content analytics and generate reports and presentations.
Be updated with content trends, consumer preferences, and technological advancement
Job requirements
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
A job candidate must possess the following qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Literature, Journalism, Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or those in the same field
Minimum of one year of experience in content creation, marketing, communications, or similar
A portfolio of published work
Familiarity with content management systems such as WordPress, Semrush, Canva, and other online tools
Good understanding of content and layout design tools
Excellent computer skills with MS Office and Google Suite
Good knowledge of various content platforms such as social media, blogs, and print media
Strong understanding of content practices such as SEO
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must have the ability to keep abreast of content and consumer trends, and technological advancements
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
Candidates must be willing to work in a hybrid setup

Must have a working PC or laptop (at least Intel Core i3 Processor - 7th Gen)
