In this role, you will be responsible for improving the reliability and performance of our mining operations through data-driven analysis and implementation of best practices.
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) to identify and resolve equipment failures and process inefficiencies
Develop and implement reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) strategies to optimize equipment performance and reduce downtime
Perform failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) to proactively identify potential failure modes and their impacts
Utilize statistical analysis and predictive maintenance techniques to forecast equipment failures and recommend preventive actions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement reliability improvement initiatives and track their effectiveness
Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and report on reliability metrics
Provide technical expertise and training to maintenance and operations teams on reliability best practices
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in reliability engineering
Conduct site assessments and audits to ensure compliance with reliability standards and procedures
Prepare and present comprehensive reports on reliability performance and improvement recommendations to management
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field)
Minimum of 10 years of experience in reliability engineering or a related field
Strong knowledge of root cause analysis (RCA), failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), and reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) methodologies
Proficiency in statistical analysis and data analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
Experience with predictive maintenance techniques and technologies
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Experience in mining or heavy industry preferred
Professional Engineer (P.E.) certification preferred
Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE) certification preferred
Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in reliability engineering
Understanding of mining operations and equipment
Willingness to travel to remote mining sites as needed
Ability to work in a multicultural environment and adapt to local conditions in Didipio, Philippines
