Role Overview
 
The Construction Purchaser will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials, equipment, and services required for ongoing construction projects. The ideal candidate has strong vendor management skills, understands construction materials, and can work in a fast-paced environment.
 
Key Responsibilities
Source and purchase materials, equipment,
Compare proposals, negotiate pricing, and secure the best value
Maintain strong vendor relationships and build new partnerships
Track deliveries to ensure timely supply to job sites
Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and warehouse teams
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Purchaser/Procurement Specialist in construction
Knowledge of construction materials and industry vendors
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Proficiency in MS Office;
