In much of their work, they operated in an Integrated Project Delivery fashion, with independent architects and engineers fusing together to create a beautiful project flow. Job Summary: The Construction Project Manager will work with the Aforma team to ensure projects run smoothly. This role wil l work with various project stakeholders both internal and external including the Sales/Preconstruction Services Manager, the Production Team (Estimator, local Project Managers & Superintendents), Design Partners, Project Owner, and Trade Partners & Suppliers. The goal of this role is to leverage our remote team to support our local team through championship teamwork. A successful candidate for this role will be an experienced construction project manager who is comfortable working collaboratively and using technology to coordinate. We manage our projects with Procore. A successful candidate will have experience delivering projects on time, on budget, and to the quality standards outlined in specifications, ultimately having a satisfied client. Responsibilities: . Review and monitor construction estimate/budget by studying plans updating specifications identifying and projecting costs by CSI MasterFormat Code Codes (50 Divisions). . Prepare project schedules in P roject Libre (similar to MS Project) . Prepare estimates and validate estimates produced by our Estimator/Quantity Surveyor . Help maintain our cost library in Esticom (Bill of Quantities) . Work with trade partners and suppliers as needed . Help create, manage, track, and distribute project plans, RFIs , and other project documents and records . Help manage submittals from trade partners for approval based on the plans and specifications . Communicating with the client . Review commitments (p urchase orders and subcontracts ) and invoices in Procore to ensure they align with the agreed scope and price . Resolves cost discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information . Assist with procurement of materials . Maintains quality service by following and improving standard operating procedures (SOPs) . Help oversee project change order management . Assist the project team with documenting job progress . Assist the project team with closeout of the project including helping to create and distribute project closeout material (e.g. O&M manuals) Requirements At least 5 years of experience in construction project management with at least 2 years as a construction project manager Commitment to continuous improvement Ability to work independently Ability to read architectural/structural plans and develop cost estimates Must possess deep technical knowledge , scheduling fluency, and exceptional organizational skills Strong understanding of residential/commercial construction processes Proficiency with construction technology (takeoff/estimating software, scheduling software, and project management software) Excellent verbal, written, and facilitation skills including the ability to influence, negotiate, and explain complex processes to internal and external stakeholders Good understanding of mathematics and basic data analysis Attention to detail and highly organized Able to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines Ability to communicate complex information clearly Exceptional problem solving skills Great interpersonal and customer service skills Demonstrated commitment to diversity, learning, and successfully working in multicultural environments Preferred Skills & Experience A degree in Construction Management or related field A certificate in Project Management Experience using Procore Experience with commercial projects Experience with high end residential projects Experience with Advanced Work Packaging Experience with Lean Construction Proficient with Google Docs Experience with Revit Benefits WHAT WE OFFER: Permanent work from home Great Place to Work-Certified Company Premium HMO Holistic employee experience Rewards and incentives Monthly engagement activities Career advancement opportunities Paid referral program
