OurMining and Civil Business Groupis looking for experienced Construction Manager / Resident Engineerto work on an Civil Works Constructions Projects. Tasks to perform are as follows:
Manage Site Engineers & General Contractor
Reporting weekly on the health and progress of the project
Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques
Supervising and overseeing the direction of the project, ensuring that the client's specifications and requirements are met, reviewing progress and liaising with quantity surveyors to monitor costs
Finding ways to prevent problems and to solve any that crop up
Ensuring that the construction project is completed on time and within budget
Qualifications, Skills or Experience:
Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineeringor similar
At least 10 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position as Construction Management. Experience in mining, water or renewable construction projects is an advantage
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Collaborative skills, independence, resourcefulness, resilience, initiative, and positive attitude towards work and colleagues
