The Role As a Construction Head, you will be responsible for overall planning, construction and delivery of the Bank and its subsidiaries' projects to end-users and/or stakeholders. How you'll contribute Reviews the evaluation rendered by Project Management Team Lead and Project Managers on the submitted bids to ensure validity and accuracy of the same in serving as basis for negotiation Reviews schematics of proposed new/renovation/relocation projects based on approved layout and endorses/monitors the approval of the same for implementation Coordinates among contractors, end-users and stakeholders (i.e. Building Admin, lessors/representatives), when necessary, to ensure real time collaboration of responsible parties in the interest of on-time and accurate delivery of project. Updates immediate superior of the status of the department and its deliverable. to ensure visibility of all tasks and assignments of the department and allow for intervention if deemed necessary Prepares year-end accomplishment report for submission to GSD Head as a summary of the Department's achievements for tracking and process improvements references. Responds to all incoming emails and phone queries Oversees scheduling of pre-bid meetings of proposed construction/renovation/relocation projects based on approved schematics and monitors submission of bids Oversees scheduling of pre-bid meetings of proposed construction/renovation/relocation projects based on approved schematics and monitors submission of bids Reviews and recommends approval of payments for all construction/renovation/relocation projects based on progress works Issues Notice to Proceed (NTP) based on approved Term Sheet. which serves as formal basis and instructions to commence execution of projects. This shall also serve as reference to Construction Contract in terms of duration What we're looking for Bachelor's Degree in Civil and Architecture courses Licensed Architect is a must With at least 5 years relative experience Sound interpretation of Architectural and Engineering designs. Effective organization skills for people, time, scope and budget. Good people skills. Good problem solving skills. Able to string a group of individuals or teams in achieving a common goal. Able to enrich the abilities of his/her subordinates by example and/or shared learning. Knowledge in Architectural and allied Engineering designs. Knowledge in Project Management.
