JOB SUMMARY
The Teacher is responsible for teaching Basic Education level subjects to students. The teacher will be responsible for creating lesson plans, delivering lectures, and assessing student performance. The teacher will work with the school administration and other teachers to ensure that the educational objectives of the school are met.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Facilitates the Teaching-Learning Process
Plans and delivers instruction in assigned subject area, using a variety of teaching techniques and strategies to meet the needs and abilities of all students.
Creates lesson plans and instructional materials that align with the school's curriculum and educational standards.
Evaluates and grade students' class work, assignments, and papers.
Establishes and maintains positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
Participates in faculty and professional meetings, educational conferences, and teacher training workshops.
Collaborates with other teachers to develop and implement instructional strategies that meet the needs of all students.
Student Outcomes and Classroom Management
Manages student behavior in the classroom and on school grounds.
Creates a safe, respectful, and supportive classroom environment that fosters student learning and growth.
Attends to student needs outside of the classroom, such as tutoring or advising.
Meets regularly with students and parents to provide academic support and guidance.
Participates in school-wide events, such as extracurricular activities and parent-teacher conferences.
Stays updated with current educational trends and research, as well as professional development opportunities.
Community Involvement
Organizes, implements, and participates in community extension services/ social action programs involving the students to complement the academic programs.
Professional Growth
Attends training programs and learning sessions for the enhancement of professional, technical, and personal proficiencies.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree holder in Education specializing in COMPUTER subject.
Licensed Professional Teacher
At least one Academic Year Experience in teaching Basic Education in a school.
