Job description:
We are seeking a qualified company nurse to provide basic healthcare services to our employees and students. The company nurse will be in charge of designing and implementing Health and Safety Programs, identifying health hazards, and preventing and treating any resulting disease or injury. The business nurse should encourage good health among employees by assessing them on a regular basis, preserving health records for each employee, and communicating effectively with company management about healthcare and safety.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement health and safety programs.
Provide emergency treatment in the workplace.
Administer over-the-counter medication to employees.
Establish a tidy and welcoming sickbay space.
Promote healthy eating and wellness programs.
Document all employee injuries and illness and keep this information confidential.
Improve the health of employees through on-going programs and health checks.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing
Licensed nurse is an advantage.
Previous experience in a similar role is preferable
Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations
Comprehensive clinical training in occupational health and nursing
Good communication and can build rapport
