JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Description
1. Monitors, promotes and implements the health and wellness program of the plant. This includes conducting health awareness, seminars and information campaigns.
2. Ensures the overall health and wellness of employees such as but not limited to screening of pre-employment medical clearance, medical clearance prior resuming to work after absence and facilitate Annual Physical Examination (APE).
3. Provide assistance in the submission of sickness filings, consultation logs and diseases occurrences.
4. Monitor sick employees by checking health status, performs contact tracing for employees who had severe communicable diseases. As well as conducts investigation with concerns on health and safety matters.
5. Provide assistance to Company Doctor including the issuance of the consultation charge slip.
6. Work hand in hand together with the Safety Officer in the implementation of safety, health and sanitation in the workplace.
7. Ensure compliance of all employees in abiding the minimum standard health and safety protocols to prevent spread of communicable diseases every day.
8. Ensure timely submission of DOLE reports such as WAIR, COVID-WAIR and Annual report. This al-so includes coordination with government and non-government institutions for company health programs. This includes strengthening partnership with Red Cross, local health unit and other pri-vate institutions/laboratories/clinics.
9. Ensures timely and accurate recording of life and accident insurance and health card.
10. Perform cross functional duties that may assigned from time to time.
 
JOB QUALIFICATION
Competence Requirements:
Graduate of BS Nursing, registered and updated licensed
With at least 1-year relevant work experience, preferably in a manufacturing set-up.
Preferably with Basic Occupational Safety and Health Training, Basic Life Support and First Aid Training
Organized, good communication skills and trustworthy.
Possess positive attitude in a multi-tasked environment and has high level of confidentiality.
Knowledgeable with DOLE requirements and compliance.
