As a Company Nurse at AirAsia Philippines, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees. You will be responsible for providing first aid treatment, managing medical emergencies, and promoting health awareness programs within the company. Your focus will be on maintaining a healthy and safe work environment while adhering to regulatory standards and best practices.
Role Responsibility
Provide nursing care to employees in their workplace
Give medicines and first aid care to the employees and if their condition
worsens, they call for an ambulance so they can be admitted to a hospital
Recommendation is taken in case a patient requires medical leave
Assess the condition of the patient and determine the amount of leave the
patient should be given
In case of compensation and disability claims by an employee, the nurses are
asked to assess the employee and provide information to the company
Assess the safety standard in the company and see if any work conditions for
the employees are hazardous
Maintain the inventory of the medicines and other medical equipment required
in the clinic
Make reports for the management of all of the employees that were given
treatment
Follow working procedures and ensure SOP's compliance
Support the company safety programs
Report safety hazards and participate in safety services department (SSD)
trainings as pertinent to his/her work
Maintain company's standards as an Allstar
Ensure medical records and it's confidentiality
Provide complete job safely instructions and proper orientation to all
workers including, but not limited to, those relating to familiarization with
their work environment
Functional Duties
Operations:
Ensure on time monitoring operational disruptions and changes in the system
for flight operations monitoring as per SOP's
Readily available sudden flight disruptions
Ensure compliance passenger medical conditions carriage
Sick leave monitoring and reports of flight operations department
Medical surveillance in the workplace
Control and management of hazards hazardous waste
Onsite medical surveillance
Supervised overall medical clinic operations and ensure all compliance and
requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing and a valid Nursing License.
Proven experience as a Company Nurse or a similar role in a corporate setting is preferred.
BLS (Basic Life Support) and First Aid Certification are required.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with employees and passengers.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and practices.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Willingness to work in a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays if required.
Familiarity with airline industry health and safety regulations is a plus.
