COMPANY NURSE
We are looking foraCompany Nursewho will be responsible in to providing the medical and emergency care and treatment to all Littelfuse employees within the legal scope of nursing responsibility in the absence of the company physician.
About the job:
Perform curative/palliative functions such as:
Provide emergency and palliative care and treatment to all employees within the legal scope of nursing responsibility in the absence of the company physician. This includes first- aid, checking of vital signs, health interview, dispensing of medicines.
Assess and determine health status of employee after an illness in the absence of a company physician. This includes issuance of nursing recommendations (sent home slip or back to work, referrals).
Render home visit and provide necessary care and treatment.
Transport ill and injured employees to hospital or home and manages the patient in the absence of a company physician.
Provide Family Planning services/ consultations, counseling and dispensing supplies.
Develop and participate in programs that provide safety and health awareness among employees.
Implement immunization program. Giving of mass injection during a health threatening situations.
Take care and coordinate functions in the maintenance of environmental sanitation. This includes canteen inspection, garbage disposal, inspections of lockers and comfort rooms, pest control program, etc.
Conduct periodic plant rounds to prevent health and safety hazard and create safety awareness among employees.
Participate actively in disaster control program, fire prevention program, etc.
Provide and update health information to all employees through:
Orient new employees to medical/ dental benefits, family planning, company rules and regulations in relation to health.
Create a therapeutic environment for employees in health on other related problems thus giving way to health counseling.
Involve actively in the dissemination of health information through company publications or health bulletins, handouts.
Assess need of employee's health education.
Perform administrative functions
About you:
Graduate of Bachelor's degree in Nursing, must be Licensed nurse
Minimum 3 years working experience preferably in an industrial work set up
Effective verbal and written communications. Able to communicate with different levels of organization and countries
Knowledgeable in SSS, Philhealth and HMO regulations
Computer literate in MS Office, Excel, and Power point
