COMPANY NURSE
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Promote employees' independence by establishing patient care goals, teaching patient and family to understand condition, medications, and self-care skills.
Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations, calling for assistance from health care support personnel.
Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols, medication administration and storage procedures.
Document patient care services by charting patients' records.
Maintain patient confidence by keeping information confidential.
Maintain medical supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level and anticipating needed supplies in coordination with Benefits Officer.
Assist the company physician in attending to employees' medical concerns.
Provide support to hospitalization of employees including but not limited to visitation or making or providing letters of authority.
Provide administrative support such as preparing correspondence, forms and reports, composing regular correspondence and processing medical confidential reports.
Perform other job-related duties required or assigned and not limited to the job description without overlapping with other duties.
