Job Description
Addresses health and safety among employees
Responds to emergencies and administer first aid, provides medication and assists injured employees to the nearest medical facility/hospital as necessary
Schedules company physician's consultation and assists during the consultation
Facilitates employees during Annual Physical Examination (APE)
Monitors/records the regular pre-natal check-ups for pregnant employees: top five (5) illnesses of employees every three (3) months; and work-related accident/mishaps with preventive measures approved by the management in coordination with the Company Physician and Safety Officer
Coordinates with the Company Physician regarding Health and Wellness programs/activities; and with the Safety Officer regarding unsafe acts, workplace hazards and accidents
Assists employees in availing health care insurance with accredited doctors and hospitals
Verifies authenticity of employee's medical certificates
Prepares monthly requisition of prescribed medicines and first aid kit supplies
Responsible for weekly posting of health issues and conducting health education upon approval
Answers phone calls and transfers to appropriate staff or department
Files personnel-related documents (leave forms, medical records, SSS/HDMF/Philhealth/BIR updates, performance appraisal, etc. to the respective 201 files and keeps these confidential
Facilitates in employees' SSS Sickness, Employees Compensation and Maternity availments benefits; in filing SSS/HDMF loan applications and SSS maternity reimbursements; and in SSS/Philhealth/BIR/HDMF updates of employees
Records employees' informed absences and leave of absence
Prepares requisition of office supplies as needed; receives and distribute mails to concerned personnel
Oversees cleanliness and orderliness of the clinic
Performs other related duties assigned for the purpose ensuring efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.
Qualifications
Graduate of BS in Nursing, preferably RN, not required, but has an advantage
Posesses trainings in Basic Life Support (BLS), First Aid, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) has an advantage
Having OHNAP (Occupational Health Nurses Association of the Philippines) certification is preferred
BOSH (Basic Occupational, Safety and Health) trained has an advantage
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proficient computer skills (MS Word/Excel)
Must be highly organized, systematic, flexible and excellent interpersonal skills
Demonstrate sound work ethics
Ability to multi-task
Willing to work on extended hours, weekends and holidays
Willing to Relocate in Lapu lapu City, Cebu
