Job Summary
The position requires a caring and compassionate nursing professional who will look after the health and wellness of the employees. The position also requires someone who has the ability to coordinate health care services for both occupational and non - occupational injuries, as well as facilitate effective communication between injured workers and management. The position also requires administrative tasks such as health screening, conduct training on safety in the workplace, and counsel employees on health hazards. It is also expected that the incumbent is able to treat minor injuries.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
Company Nurse
1. Maintains compliance to Health and Safety Labor laws and internal policies;
2. Responsible to provide first aid treatment and medication in case of injuries or accidents. If needed for hospitalization, responsible to accompany the patient as well;
3. Records and keep confidential patient's medical history results;
4. Responsible to conduct a regular inventory of medicines and other supplies and responsible for the requisition of the same;
5. Conduct monthly regular toolbox meetings for production employees to ensure safety in the workplace;
6. Conduct monthly regular meetings for Safety and Health Committee;
7. Conduct regular inspection in all company areas and during operations for safety and health; procedure monitoring;
8. Responsible to coordinate and conduct Annual Physical Exam for directly hired employees;
Job Specifications
1. Licensed/Registered nurse;
2. At least one year experience in clinical practice in an industrial setting;
3. Proficient in written and oral communication skills;
4. Knowledgeable on Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) regulations;
5. Highly organized and has an eye for detail;
6. With excellent bedside manners and good interpersonal skills;
7. With a positive personal values, good work ethics, energetic and passion;
8. Can work under pressure with minimum supervision;
9. Willing to work on shifts.
10. Proficient in basic computer applications (word processing, spreadsheets, and
presentation software and internet navigation and e-mail);
11. Certified First-Aide Trainer preferred;
12. With the ability to prepare various reports using a computer
