Job Responsibilities:
Company Nurse is responsible for providing basic first aid, evaluating an employee's health and providing initial diagnosis on medical conditions, maintaining employee health records, as well as appraising the safety and health hazards in the work environment. He or she may conduct thorough physical examinations on an employee in order to establish pre-existing medical conditions or determine physical ailments acquired in the workplace. The Company Nurse inspects the work area and equipment used by personnel for safety compliance, generates detailed reports on safety conditions, educates employees on preventative measures against occupational hazards, promotes healthy living and working conditions, provides counselling and support, develops health and safety policies, and ensures that the company is up to date with public health and employment safety legislations. Company nurse interpret and document a employee's medical complaints using medical histories and diagnostic tests. While complying with laws and regulations, company nurse investigate and analyse injury trends, research possible occupational hazards, and collaborate with safety teams and managers. Additional job duties can include managing medical records, creating emergency workplace preparedness plans and evaluating health care delivery systems.
Qualifications
Registered Nurse
BOSH Certified is a plus
Good problem solving, administrative and interpersonal skills are a must.
Minimum 5 years of work experience as a company nurse in a larger operation/hotel.
