Company Nurse is responsible in providing basic healthcare services to the employees; provide general first aid when needed, along with assessing employee health risks and promoting employee health. They work to improve employee retention and lower company healthcare costs.
Job Responsibilities:
· Administers first aid treatment on illness or accident before referring the patient to a hospital nearby for further medical treatment.
· Conduct health awareness briefing regarding healthcare and safety. Counsel workers about work-related illnesses and injuries.
· Implements monthly wellness program for health awareness and information dissemination.
· Implements and ensures compliance with Health and Safety policies, procedures, and programs.
· Support the SHE Team in ensuring effective day to day operations of the Clinics to implement standardized health processes such as but not limited to:
x Health risk assessments, job hazards and incorporates health promotion strategies to minimize accidents
x Health Incident Reporting, Recording and Investigation.
x Promote good health among employees by assessing them at regular intervals, keeping their health records.
x Immunization
x Food Safety
· Assists employees during hospitalization and monitored the progress of health condition.
· Administers prescribed medications and treatments needed by employees.
· Assist company doctor during check-ups and consultation.
· Systematically maintains an up-to-date inventory of medicines and supplies and replenishes supply on schedule, maintenance of medical instruments.
· Maintains a quality, clean and safe company's medical clinic.
· Keep medical records with the utmost confidentiality
· Coordinate as may be required in the conduct of health talks by external speakers.
· Participate in Health Audit and Reviews.
· Support community relations team in health-related programs and projects.
· Make and furnish reports whether for corporate or legal purposes and as per the requirement of the Department of Labor and Employment.
· Perform site visits.

Qualifications:
A Registered Nurse
At least 2 years working experience as a Nurse, Clinic Nurse, or Company Nurse
· With valid driver's license is an advantage
· Preferably with an OHNAP/BOSH certificate
· Knowledge on legal health and safety guidelines under DOLE-OSH Standards
· Excellent knowledge and skill in emergency healthcare-related issues in the workplace
· Have undergone the following trainings:
x Basic Life Support
x Advance Cardio Life Support
x IV Therapy
x Occupational Safety and Health
