JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education: High School Diploma or Vocational course
Work Experience: Minimum of one-year driving experience within a 30-mile radius of the store
Other Requirements: Driver's License; No serious tickets or accidents in the last 5 years; Can drive a truck
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Knowledge of area to deliver packages to customers on time
2. Interact with customers in a professional manner
3. Work during weekends and occasional evenings and/or holidays
4. Complete daily maintenance checks on the delivery van/truck and notify the manager of any issues
5. Drive in inclement weather
6. Maintain electronic logs to track routes and deliveries
7. Manage routes and routines so they proceed in the most efficient way possible
8. Find ways to conserve resources, including fuel, to benefit the business
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES
• Ability to manage time and routes for a streamlined delivery experience
• Strength to lift up to 70 pounds plus bending and twisting
• Work well independently
• Open and transparent communication
• Familiarity with GPS devices or map apps
• Honest, have initiative and willingness to work hard.
